The phase III Longdistance watertransmission pipeline of Saudi Arabia SWCC Company
is the world's biggest diameter seawater desalination pipeline project. the largest diameter
76 inch, the pipeline length is amount about 604 km, the diameter type is more and about 8
species from 76 inch to 12 inch, Steel grade of main material is chosen from API X65 to API B,
pipeline adopts 3PE outer coating and mortar inner coating technology.
The project environment is complex, from the plains, hills, mountains, hollow earth, to the
urban area etc. The whole project adopts the European and American standard from the design,
procurement, construction and acceptance, and the supervisor is Germany ILF Company. In the
process of project running, the owners and supervision party strictly enforce owners’ specification
and the corresponding standardsand they are attach importance to pressure testing process of pipeline
section is owners and supervision, at the same time under the objective conditions that pipeline has
large wavy, pressure of pressure testing is high, the construction quality requirement is high and the
risk coefficient is also high, the pressure testing project is a huge challenge to the contractor.
In December 2014, our company signed all the pipeline pressure testing technical services contract
of this project. Led by the company's deputy general manager Mr. Li Xiaohui and senior Engineer Mr. Ge
Yanchao and coordinated by Saudi Arabia branch manager Mr. Wangliang and project director Mr. Sun
Yangpeng, we study abroad test standards, overcome the difference between domestic and international
standards, and operate strictly in accordance with international standards from writing the procedure
documentation to the engineering material preparation. Project team personnel at the scene overcome
the high temperature and sand weather, and positively arrange the scene. After four months of preparation,
in September 23, 2015, we are formally implemented to filling water to make pressure testing.

by our company, The project starts smoothly, marks our company entered into a large diameter pipeline pressure
test markets, and also marks the pressure testing from crude oil pipeline to water pipeline, which will enrich our
